The Good Old Days Were Rotten

A news story reminds us that dramatic rises in gas prices are not new in history. Bob Welch writes of back in the 70s gas took off and doubled in priced from 0.45 cents to 0.70 cents a gallon (note keep in mind $2.00 was often the starting wage.)

We've gone thru this before and survived and we'll survive our current spike too.

You were right about this one! Here it is in fall, and the gas price is dropping fast and is no longer the crisis threatening our way of life.
