Good Eats

Enough of serious subjects, let us turn to fun and nostalgia: Googie design. This site has pictures of all the fun places we use to go to get a hamburger late at night after the double feature movie.

A classic example of Tike Googie from San Diego.

And, a place I often ate at Azar's Bob's Big in Denver.

Makes me hungry for a cheeseburger right now.

Same here, I remember that Azar's hamburger was a very tasty treat after a movie or a night of drinking at the Emerson Street Electric Company.

As it seems us aging baby boomers are turning back to the past, I predict that a Big Boy will open in Denver Again.

You've got me beat with the reference to the Tiki Gardens in St Petersburg. I can't recall going there. Was that the place with the big kapok tree?
