Special Ed for Flipper?

Another new age concept has just bit the dust. For years, aging boomers have assumed the large brains of dolphins meant the mammals were highly intelligent and probably smarter than us. Now it turns out this isn't the case:

Dolphins and whales are dumber than goldfish and don't have the know-how to match a rat, new research from South Africa has revealed.

They're still cute and fun to watch, but we'll just have to accept that they don't have any great or secret knowledge to give us. However, if they could speak, I'd guess they would say, "Goodbye and thanks for all the fish."
